061: Time for a Reboot?

Have you ever been super frustrated that nothing is working on your computer?  You’ve spent hours trying to figure out why it won’t do what you want it to do.  Or the same with your phone?  It’s all glitchy and the apps aren’t working right.  You’ve convinced yourself that you are going to have to come up with an extra $800 dollars and buy a new phone or even more than that to replace your laptop.  So, you start explaining all the problems you’re having to your tech savy husband, your voice rising to a different pitch as you get even more frustrated as you go over all you’ve been trying to do again and then he calmly says, “Have you rebooted?”

So you do.

And everything works right.

And he just smiles that smile that says to you that ..he knows everything.

And you know nothing????

Just curious.

I’ve never had anything like that happen to me before.

Or maybe I have so many times that I actually remember to reboot now before I ever bring my tech issues to him.

Rebooting is always the answer.

Well, at least most of the time.

9/10 I feel safe in saying.

Our computers have a lot of information running through them and sometimes they just need a quick little break to refresh and get all their different systems running correctly again.

-Shut down

-Refresh and

-Recharge

Did you know that YOU need a reboot every now and again too?

If you didn’t know that, I’m here to tell you that you definitely do.

What are some ways to reboot?

I can share some of mine and I hope that they spark ideas for you too.

-I love to crochet.  I love crocheting even more if I can do it while watching a movie or a youtube video or watching a class.  It relaxes my mind and I feel like I soak in more if I’m busy with my hands instead of just sitting.

-going for a walk or especially a hike outside.  There is always something beautiful to see.  My favorite time to do this is early morning.  I love starting in the dark and ending just as the sun is coming up, barely lighting the earth.  To me, there is something sacred about this time and it makes me feel so connected and grounded.  I’ve gotten more ideas during this time than any other time of the day.

-Dancing!  Dancing to music that is inspiring to me.  The words and the movement just get me going when I feel like there’s nothing left.  I don’t even care if I don’t look cool when I’m dancing… it’s more about the way it makes me feel.  I’ve gotten better about not caring what others think so that’s made dancing even more fun.

-Reading a good book with a cup of Crio Bru.  Crio Bru is brewed cacoa beans and it’s my favorite drink in the morning and evening.  I love to read while I sip it.  Filling my mind with new and uplifting ideas takes my worries away and I feel refreshed and ready to go.

Ok.  There are some of mine.

Did that get you thinking?

Here’s my challenge for you.  Schedule in a reboot every day.

You heard me right, every day.

It doesn’t need to be very long but make time to reboot!

Your brain and your body need it if you are going to continue on with everything you need to do.  Remember how I said that computers have a lot of information and data stored in them?

So do you!

You have a lot on your plate.

So much to remember and do.

Take care of you before your body decides to do a reboot on it’s own.

That usually happens at really inopportune times.

Maybe choosing to reboot is a really good idea.

Send me an email and let me know your favorite ways to reboot.

Let me know if you’ve been doing this for a long time or if you’re just starting.

This is exiciting!!!

Just think what a refreshed and recharged YOU can do!!!

I have a program that I teach that teaches you lots of different ways to reboot.

You can register for the Uniquee Connection Program which is starting next week.

September 2, 2022 is Day #1 and it would be great to work with you there.

The Uniquee Connection Method is a great way to reboot!

It’s what saved me when I was in a place of discouragement.  I was busy, but not fulfilled.  I felt disconnected and lost.  My mind was distracted and I couldn’t seem to focus on the things that were most important to me.

That’s the time of my life where I put together the Uniquee Connection Method.  Through a lot of study and trial and error, and a lot of time, I found the systems that finally made me feel connected to my life again and even more importantly, the people in my life.  I am one of those people in my life.  I felt more like myself than I had in probably 15 years.

Like I said, I’ll be teaching this method in my online program which begins September 2, 2022.  You will feel yourself transform back into who you’ve always been, but now in a way that comes from a place of love for your self.  Feeling compassion and connection for who you have always been and who you are becoming.

For the month of September, you will receive a lesson and assignments that will guide you through these systems.  You will have the chance to ask questions in the Office Hours I will show up for each week.  You also will have a one on one call with me to get help and encouragement to learn how to use this method.  This is my favorite part of the class.  I love meeting with each of my students.

If this is the way you learn best, I’m also offering individual mentoring as well.  I want to be there for you.  I want to love and support you as you learn to love and support yourself.  You can register for the Connection Mentorship HERE: https://hunkeedori.com/UCMX or learn more about it HERE: www.hunkeedori.com/UCMInfo , and on my website, www.hunkeedori.com.  If you want to email me directly to register, I’d love to help you with that as well.  Email me at marla@hunkeedori.com

I look forward to working with you in the Uniquee Connection Program or in the Connection Mentorship, whichever way is best for you.

Thanks for joining me here today and remember:

I see you.  I understand how hard you’re trying, and I’d like to help however I can.

Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you back here next week.
