Do feelings of overwhelm, discouragement and self-doubt fill up your days?
Are You A Unicorn?
If you’ve never suffered from this and don’t know what I’m talking about then you must be a unicorn and we need to talk! I’ll need you to share your wisdom with me and teach me your ways.
Most women suffer from overwhelm, discouragement and self-doubt because they have more on their plate than they know what to do with. We all have more than we can do in a day and most things seems urgent and important.

What if we took a step back?
What if we really thought about all those “to-do’s” and how they align with our priorities? Not your neighbors priorities or the woman at the school who seems to have time to do everything. YOUR priorities. It’s kind of a novel thought.
I Know Your Ways
I know what you’ve been doing all these years.
I see you.
I see that box you have hidden in the back of your closet.
How do I see it?
Because I have one too and I know what to look for.
It’s filled with all the “perfect” organizer systems that promised me way out of the disorganized mess I’d made of my life.
We’ve all tried them. We get excited about how well it works for so many people. “This could be it” we say. “This is the ONE!” we say. “I will finally be as organized as _________. She can find time for everything because she uses that system.”
Yep. Been there.
I’ve been so dedicated and focused to make this new system work.
Then just a month or so later I just can’t take it anymore. I don’t want to fill in all those lines. Those boxes don’t even make sense. These aren’t my priorities. I don’t understand what I’m supposed to put in _______.
Sound familiar?
You Already Know
I think we all know innately what works best for us. Not because we “KNOW” but because if we were honest, we’d take a piece from this system and a section from this one.
We know that we don’t want to carry all the big books around and why in the world do I need to carry all my “contacts” in the back????
You know because you’ve been around awhile and if you could you’d tear a part out of each one and make your own.
The Cure
This is why I finally settled on the system that has settled my Scatterbraineditis once and for all.
A system that I can build myself.
A system that adapts to what I need it to be when I need it.
TA-DA!
That system is the Travelers Notebook.
How I love my Travelers Notebook!
Once you try it and use it and adapt it into what YOU need it to be, I think you will agree with me too.
5 Tips to Overcome Scatterbraineditis
I’ve compiled 5 tips that will help you overcome “Scatterbraineditis” and I’d love to share them with you.
#1. Bring it all together.
Having everything you use regularly to keep your life running smoothly in one place not only saves you time, it helps you feel more confident in being your life’s CEO. You got this! When you need something, it’s all there. That makes overwhelm and discouragement and thing of the past.
#2. Designate a place for clutter.
Gone are the days of loose, random sticky notes and piles of papers. Just having those gone will bring your stress levels down. Designate a section in your TN as a place to write down the thoughts you’d usually write everywhere else. You’ll now only have one place to look when you need to find that note.
#3. Narrow down your must have’s.
If you don’t use something every week, don’t carry it around with you. A Travelers Notebook is made so you can easily move things in and out of your cover. Once you get using it, you’re not tied down to what you put in or left out of it. Change it out and make it work FOR you, not against you.
#4. Social Media is not your guide.
Just because you saw someone else use something cute on Instagram doesn’t mean it’s meant for you. Before you add anything to our system you need to decide if it’s something that is going to make you feel better or is it just going to add overwhelm? Make sure it will help you get closer to acheiving your goals, not add more to your plate that distracts you from your real purpose.
#5. Look the part.
If you want to live the life of an organized person, you’ve got to look it. You can’t be missing appointments and pick-up times. You’ve got to carry your schedule with you wherever you go so it has to be compact. It needs to be functional. You don’t want to be flustered looking for what you need. And hey, while you’re at it, it might as well look really nice and fit your personality. Why not, right?
Don’t let overwhelm, discouragement, or doubt get the better of you! Designing the Travelers Notebook system that holds everything you need is easier than you think. With a little focus, energy and fun choosing all the pretty things, you’ll be running your life with ease and confidence.
I have designed a beautiful guide to walk you through all the steps you need to help you design your first (or next) Travelers Notebook by Hunkeedori whenever you’re ready.
