Faith, Hope, and Charity are taught in the scriptures
I love all three of these attributes. But as the Hope Coach, I would like to talk about hope today.
In Romans it speaks of having hope even when it went against hope.
In Peter it encourages you to be prepared so you can share hope with anyone who asks why you have hope.
HOPE comes from God.
Our hope can be used for the things that we want to have happen.
Hope can be defined as confident expectations.
It goes without saying that we will experience both joy & sorrow in life.
But because of something deep within all of us, we can be strengthened as we see beyond the struggle and learn to find understanding in the bigger picture of who we are becoming because of the struggle.
Hope can be used to get through all of it.
Hope can bring light into the deepest part of you as you look forward to the future.
Hope is a gift. It grows as we increase our faith in Jesus Christ. It can grow as you choose to look to something bigger than yourself.
In the New Testament in Hebrews 11:1 it says:
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
We can build this substance of the things we hope for through our prayers, by taking action on what we learn in the scriptures, when we choose to take care of others and trust that His plan for us is always working.
We have the choice if we will choose to trust or not.
Jesus Christ taught in the New Testament that:
Not my will but the will of God be done.
We can choose to believe in HIS chosen timing as well.
You can choose to trust in something bigger than what you see for yourself and then be willing to wait for His timing.
I recently heard that God is playing a 5D chess game with pieces that each have their own agency on what they will do or not do.
That’s quite the game!
I know that life doesn’t feel like a game, but the metaphor still works for me.
When I choose to trust that He knows best not only for me, but all the other people who are on the earth too, that gives me hope. I believe that He really does see all and knows best.
Paul taught that the God of hope will fill you with joy and peace and that brings even more hope.
You can access this hope by finding ways that you feel the spirit of God working in your life.
This builds hope.
Nothing can take away your hope when you are continually focused on your foundation of faith in why you are here.
Don’t know the answer to that?
That’s ok.
Keep searching for it.
While you may be experiencing an eclipse of hope, it is actually still there.
This hope in God’s timing will keep you strong as you search.
That’s why I decided to call myself the Hope Coach.
There is hope in all things!
- You can have hope even when in the depths of a struggle.
- You can hope for brighter days ahead.
- You can learn to be more hopeful if you don’t have it now.
Learning to feel hope is the basis of what I teach in my coaching sessions with my clients.
I can help you find hope when it feels impossible sometimes.
I believe in a God of hope.
He never leaves us alone without access to Him.
We get to choose to believe in Him.
And that brings so much hope!
The peace that you are seeking may not come as quickly as you’d like it to but as you trust and hope in the promise that your God will never leave you, it will come.
It can be with you all along the way if you choose to allow it into your heart.
Nurture the small amount of hope you may already have, and it will continue to grow.
And as you learn to overcome the heaviness of life, the hope that God brings can be your place of rest. I believe this so much!
I’m here to help.
You don’t have to struggle alone.
There is always hope!
