How do I know what I think? You're on the road to self-discovery when you excavate your own mind
Excavate Your Mind

A great way to become aware of what you’re thinking, and therefore what you believe, is by journaling.

Journaling seems to be the answer to everything

As you asses your thoughts, you can decide if you really want to continue believing what you’re thinking.

When you see it written in front of you, it helps you realize if you really think that’s true.

  • Does it make sense?
  • Does it feel right?
  • Is it just that crazy part of your brain that takes over now and again and just needs someone to listen?

Be that person.  Listen to yourself.  You know what’s up after all!!

A few quotes by Jen Sincero really make a lot of sense when it comes to journaling.

“Your thoughts and beliefs dictate your reality, so if you want to change your reality, you have to change your beliefs.”

“Our thoughts become our words, our words become our beliefs, our beliefs become our actions, our actions become our habits, and our habits become our realities.”

Challenge Time!

I’d like to challenge you to give it a try.

Take 30 minutes to sit down and test this idea out.

Sit down with the intent to just start writing.  Ii doesn’t matter what you start out writing, whatever you’re thinking will soon start coming out onto the paper.

REALLY.

Become an observer of yourself.

It’s truly amazing as you observe this happen in yourself.
